Overview
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a friendly and well-organised team in Kidlington. This is an 8-week temporary role with full training provided. The position involves goods receiving, inventory control, order picking, and maintaining a safe and tidy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Goods receiving: Checking deliveries and recording all incoming goods accurately using an MRP system (full training provided).Inventory management: Storing components in the correct allocated locations and maintaining stock accuracy.Goods out: Picking items to kit lists or fulfilling individual requests and recording dispatches through the MRP system.Stock control: Supporting routine stock-takes to maintain inventory accuracy.Warehouse upkeep: Ensuring the warehouse area is kept clean, organised, and compliant with Health & Safety standards.Additional duties: Supporting the operations team with general warehouse tasks when required.Skills & Experience
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.Inventory Analyst experience Confidence using IT systems (training on MRP will be provided).Good attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A forklift truck licence would be advantageous but not required.Benefits
