Warehouse Operative

Our reputable client are URGENTLY looking for a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE to join their well established team.

Reporting in to the Warehouse manager, you will be a key team player in all Warehouse activities and Operations. Your key duties will include:

Carry out all duties in accordance with company documented procedures.Ensure the warehouse is always kept to a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness paying particular attention to the beginning of the day.Ensure that goods are stored in stock rotation order – all older stock to be used first.Carry out picking of orders as advised by the Warehouse Team Leader.Carry out visual QC Checks as required.Check orders picked by other staff for accuracy.Pack customer orders appropriate to the product being despatched.Re–packing of product to appropriate containers as required.Ensure any damaged stock is quarantined and advised to the Warehouse Team Leader.Carry out stock checks as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader.Any other duties within the title holder's capabilities as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader.To be suitable for this fast–paced and challenging role you will have the following key skills and experience:

Experience working in a warehouse related environmentTeamworking skillsExcellent time keeping and attendanceAccuracy, speed and attention to detailMicrosoft Office IT SkillsThe ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesA flexible approach to workThe ability to carry out physical work for long periods of timeA strong work ethic Willingness to learn and be given direction.This is a permanent full–time role and will be working Mon–Friday 830–5pm.
