Salary: 28,892 (pay rise in Jan)

Shifts: Flexible working

Hours: 45 hours per week between 7am–7pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join the team working in the heart of the port in Liverpool Docks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves handling materials, and assisting with shipping and receiving processes. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast–paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from lorries and containers Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely Perform materials handling tasks, including picking and packing orders Assist with shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accuracy in documentation Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals Experience driving a tug desirable – not essential training will be provided Skills

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable Ability to perform lifting as required by the role Experience in warehousing or similar fields is an advantage Strong organisational skills to maintain a tidy work environment Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
