Description
Holt Engineering are working with leading food manufacturing company dedicated to producing quality products in a fast–paced, high–standard environment based in Winchester. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with valid Counterbalance Forklift experience to join their team.
This is a temporary to permanent position working full time Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4pm.
Paying between 27,000 – 28,000 Per Annum.
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative:
Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficientlyLoad and unload deliveries, following all health & safety and food hygiene proceduresMove, stack, and organise raw materials and finished products within the warehousePick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatchPicking products for the production area Complete stock checks and maintain accurate inventory recordsSupport general warehouse duties including cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment
Key Requirements for the successful Warehouse Operative:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (RTITB / ITSSAR or equivalent)Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)Strong attention to detail and ability to follow proceduresGood communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamWillingness to work in a temperature–controlled or food production environmentMust drive with a Full UK Drivers Licence
