The job involves performing order picking and packing duties and vehicle loading in order to distribute products for end consumers, care homes and other businesses,Key Skills Required: Reliability and dependabilitySelf-motivatedLiteracy and numeracySpeed, accuracy, and attention to detailGood organisational skillsUpbeat and energisedFlexible and willing to take on a variety of tasksTeam playerComputer literate Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Picking and packing customer orders in accordance with their individual requirements, daily workload allocation and pre-agreed targetsPutting stock away in the pre-determined stock locations and keeping stock locations up to date where movements are madeConducting regular cycle counting for product counts and location accuracyLiaising with the Management team to ensure that relevant, and timely, information is provided relating to any issue with customer consignmentsLoading of customer orders onto vehicles/collating orders ready for collection by external carriers or the click and collect serviceMaintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards and reporting any safety observations to line managementAdhering to the departments 5s arrangements and general warehouse cleaning and tidyingEnsure that all work is carried out in accordance with the requirements if ISO9001, 14001 and 45001 and any other company policies and proceduresAny other duties required management to support the operation of the function
