Warehouse Manager Location: Northampton - Site based Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 per annumJob Type: PermanentHours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pmThe Opportunity A rapidly growing global business is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take ownership of its UK warehouse operation in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded leader who can build and galvanise a team, drive operational performance and take full ownership of the site's day-to-day operation and P&L.What's Involved?Full day-to-day management of the UK warehouse operationLeading and developing a team of 13-20 employeesBuilding a strong, motivated and high-performing teamTaking ownership of site P&L, budgets and cost controlManaging facilities and ensuring the warehouse operates safely and efficientlyDriving KPIs, SLAs and operational performanceManaging goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatchPlanning resources around changing volumes and business demandsWorking closely with internal teams to ensure customer and commercial requirements are metIdentifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunitiesManaging suppliers, consumables and operational costsUsing data to identify issues, improve performance and make informed decisionsThe ideal candidate have:Proven experience managing a warehouse or distribution operationExperience leading teams of 13+ peopleStrong P&L and budget ownership experienceExcellent people-management and leadership skillsA hands-on management style with the ability to motivate and galvanise a teamStrong technical knowledge of WMS systemsExperience working with bespoke or complex warehouse management systems would be highly advantageousStrong understanding of warehouse processes, KPIs and operational excellenceA commercially focused approach to cost control and efficiencyExcellent communication and organisational skillsThe confidence to work in a fast-paced, growing environmentThe Hours & Package -Salary - GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 salary-Hours - Monday-Friday - 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm-Some flexibility required to take calls supporting US operations-Full P&L ownership-Facilities & warehouse management responsibility-Opportunity to make a genuine impact within a growing global businessApply today to discuss with Gabriella Saunders at ACS Staffing Solutions!
