This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and hands-on leader to take ownership of a busy warehouse operation and inspire a large team to deliver excellence.The RoleLeading a team of 40 warehouse operatives, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective running of the warehouse function. You will drive continuous improvement across all areas of the operation while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and customer service.Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 40 warehouse staff, fostering a positive and high-performance culture Oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations including goods in, picking, packing, and despatch Monitor and report on key performance indicators, implementing improvements where required Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and company policies Manage stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and annual stock takes Liaise with transport, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operational flow Manage staffing levels, rotas, and absence in line with business needs Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiency and reduce costsRequirements Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Senior Warehouse Team Leader Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large teams in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and best practice Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills A results-driven mindset with a hands-on approach Forklift licence desirable but not essentialWhat's on Offer Competitive salary of GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 The chance to lead and shape a sizeable warehouse operation Supportive leadership team with genuine career progression opportunities A collaborative working environment within a growing businessIf you are an experienced warehouse professional ready to take on a leadership challenge, we would love to hear from you.
