Description

Our client is looking for a reliable, proactive, and motivated Warehouse Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operations.

This is a key role where you'll be responsible for ensuring processes run efficiently, safely, and in line with established methods and procedures.

You'll be leading a team of both full-time and temporary staff, managing productivity targets, and ensuring exceptional service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily warehouse operations across two sitesEnsure all staff are trained, productive, and working to agreed processesLiaise closely with the Operations Director to align on business prioritiesMaintain control of stock and space across both warehousesManage warehouse assets and ensure all equipment is maintainedDrive operational efficiency to meet strict despatch deadlinesHandle staffing: including holiday planning, sickness cover, training and performanceMaintain and improve health & safety standards across all warehouse activityEnsure smooth handling of returns, stock consolidations and inventory accuracySupport the team during busy periods or staff absences by stepping into hands-on roles where neededConduct regular team meetings and annual performance reviewsMonitor and manage operational supplies, liaising with accounts as requiredWhat We're Looking For:

A natural leader with proven experience in warehouse or operations managementHands-on, team-oriented, and ready to roll up your sleevesSomeone who values structure and consistency, but can think on their feetStrong communicator, comfortable working closely with both internal teams and external clientsCalm under pressure, proactive in solving problems before they escalateExperienced with stock management and health & safety complianceOur client promotes a strong sense of teamwork and a supportive culture.
