About the RoleWe are expanding and opening a brand-new site in Cheadle Hulme - creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to join us. This new role is perfect for someone who wants to grow with the business, help shape a developing team, and support us in driving operational excellence.

You'll support the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operations, compliance, and staff leadership, acting as deputy when required and playing a key part in our continued growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-shift warehouse operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.Assist with recruitment, training, development, and performance management of Warehouse Operatives.Promote adherence to CAA, HMRC/ETSF, and company procedures.Coordinate drivers for loading/unloading and ensure correct freight handling.Work closely with Operations to minimise delays and maintain smooth workflow.Assist with accurate documentation, screening, labelling, and WMS usage.Support security, health & safety standards, and audit preparations.What We're Looking ForExperienced in warehouse operations with supervisory or assistant management background.Knowledge of aviation, freight, or regulated environments is advantageous.Strong communicator and team motivator with a proactive, safety-first approach.Someone eager to contribute to a growing site and develop alongside the business.Why Join Us?Brand-new role due to expansion - make your mark from day one.Real opportunities to progress as the site grows.Supportive team culture with great benefits and secure onsite parking.
