Vna Driver/Aisle Master

Description

We are seeking a dedicated VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) forklift driver to start in Hillington.In this role, you will operate specialized VNA forklifts to efficiently handle materials, load and unload shipments, and organize inventory within tight storage aisles. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely shipping and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, warehouse experience, and a commitment to safety and precision.

Responsibilities

Operate VNA forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse Load and unload shipments with accuracy, ensuring proper placement and handling Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal forklift performance Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing goods Support warehouse organization by stacking, storing, and retrieving materials as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and improve workflow efficiency Skills

Proven experience operating VNA forklifts in a fast–paced warehouse environment Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems for inventory control Mechanical skills for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting Familiarity with materials handling techniques and heavy lifting procedures Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counting and measurements Good understanding of shipping & receiving processes Basic knowledge of warehouse safety standards and protocols This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals eager to contribute their forklift expertise in a well–organized, safety–conscious environment. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 6:45am–4.45pm

Payrate is 13.70 and after 12 weeks if you are offered full time employment it goes up to 14.90
