Senior Environmental Advisor

Join a team working at the forefront of the UK's net‑zero transition. Supporting the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP), you'll play a key role in the development of the East Coast Cluster-one of the UK's most significant decarbonisation initiatives. The programme aims to decarbonise the Teesside and Humber regions, enable low‑carbon power generation, and help unlock the UK's emerging hydrogen economy.

About the Role

As Senior Environmental Advisor, you will provide expert environmental guidance across the contract, ensuring full alignment with the Group SHE Management System. You'll work closely with contract leadership, operational teams, and supply chain partners to drive high standards of environmental performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Advise and influence contract leadership, client teams, and stakeholders on environmental compliance and performance.

Support and deliver training to embed the Group SHE Management System across the contract.

Coach operational teams and supply chain partners to meet environmental requirements.

Contribute to the assessment and ongoing assurance of supply chain contractors.

Support delivery of annual Contract and Group SHE objectives.

Participate in environmental assurance activities and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Support investigations into unplanned events and ensure lessons learned are shared effectively.

Manage environmental reporting, data analysis, and improvement planning.

Oversee subcontractor documentation and compliance.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.About You

Essential

Minimum 3 years' environmental experience.

PIEMA (or equivalent), working towards MIEMA/CEnv.

Experience in contaminated land and brownfield environments.

Environmental degree or equivalent.Desirable

Significant environmental experience within a relevant industry. xjnqpsq

Experience with DCO processes and consenting
