Job Title: Production Picker

Location: Outskirts of Bury St Edmunds (rural location – transport required)

Salary: 12.71 – 13.50 p/hour

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

The following role will have you working as part of the stores department, managing inventory for the production team. This will involve picking all the parts ready on trolleys for the manufacturing team.

We are offering a salary of 12.71+ p/hour, with overtime available and an excellent holiday allowance.

Working hours are 08:00–16:30 with an early finish EVERY Friday.

Any experience with hand tools would be highly advantageous, whether it's production or assembly–based.

Production Picker Duties:

Picking machine parts from the warehouseReading & working from stock lists & managing inventory as you workAssist in the warehouse as and when requiredRegularly reconcile physical stock to the computerised recordBe responsible for own health and safety and personal development, keeping up to date with relevant issues in relation to job role and to demonstrate good housekeeping

Previous warehouse experience is essential, but some training will be provided. You must be computer literate & ideally familiar with stock control (SAP) systems.

A forklift license would be hugely beneficial, but it is not essential for the role.

This is a permanent position following a successful trial period.
