Description

Industrial Temporaries are looking are looking for Production Operatives for a very well established and successful company know worldwide in their field.

About the Role

Successful candidates will undertake duties within the site recycling operation, as required or directed. This will include but not limited to, quality control, picking activities, bale trimming and general cleaning. The ability to operate fixed plant machinery and assist with minor maintenance directly associated with the role and tasks that do not require support from a certified maintenance engineer.

Daily Duties

Regular cleaning and housekeeping throughout the shift to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment. Conduct recycling activities such as, quality control of materials, picking operations, bale trimming and cleaning ensuring a safe and controlled manner in line with safe operating procedures. Using machinery such as the picking booth and on the production picking line, also responsible for the bale wire trimming. Moveing waste materials around the factory floor and site. Basic maintenance tasks as required under the direction of a competent person. Including preventative maintenance such as greasing the machine bearings. Conduct inspections and complete the necessary forms such as daily checks and defect reporting. Operate production processing equipment and record any required data in the relevant system. Monitor production processing equipment, checking for blockages, reporting any defects and acting accordingly when required to resolve the matter or escalate where appropriate. Monitor and assess quality of material whilst handling product. Personal attributes

Ability to work individually or part of a team. Understaning of processes. Excellent communicational skills. Flexibility to move between tasks. Understanding of proceedures and risk assesments. MUST HOLD A VALID UK DRIVING LICENSE Working hours

The working pattern will be a four on four off consisting of x2 days and x2 nights of 12 hours each shift.

Pay
