Plan and manage the procurement of materials to meet production schedules effectively.Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.Collaborate with the production team to forecast material requirements accurately.Address any supply chain disruptions or material shortages promptly.Maintain accurate records of material movements and purchase orders.Optimise inventory levels to minimise costs without compromising production needs.Liaise with suppliers to negotiate terms and build strong working relationships.Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry standards.Profile

A successful Material Planner should have:

Experience in material planning, inventory control, or procurement in an FMCG environment.Strong analytical and problem–solving skills.Proficiency in relevant software and systems for inventory management.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.A proactive approach to identifying and resolving supply chain issues.Knowledge of procurement policies and best practices.Job Offer
