Job Summary

Proactive Personnel are looking for HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS with 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE to work for an established client in the Warrington area. You will be doing 1–3 store deliveries for 05:00 starts any day from Monday to Sunday are available. Morning Shifts will be chilled goods and afternoons will be 16:00 trunks with dry ambient goods

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Tail lift vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Ensuring the chilled system is working and on Conduct pre–trip and post–trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues as necessary. Load and unload goods with an electric pump truck, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. A valid commercial driving licence is essential for this position. Familiarity with operating flatbed vehicles is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
