Manufacturing Operator

Location: Inchinnan, Paisley

Duration: Full Time – Immediate Start Available

Salary: 13.20 per hour + 25% shift allowance ( 16.50 per hour equivalent)

Are you reliable, hands–on and looking for an opportunity to develop a career within manufacturing? We're looking for a Manufacturing Operator to join a busy and supportive production team in Paisley. Whether you have previous manufacturing experience or are looking to take your first step into the industry, full training will be provided.

You'll play an important role in producing high–quality products within a cleanroom environment, working as part of a team that is committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Operator, you'll be responsible for supporting the production process and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Working within a cleanroom environment, you'll follow detailed instructions and procedures, safely operate equipment and help ensure production targets are achieved.

This is a role that suits someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in producing quality results and thrives as part of a team.

This role follows a rotating weekly shift pattern:

Week 1: Early Shift, 6:00am to 2:00pmWeek 2: Night Shift, 10:00pm to 6:00amWeek 3: Back Shift, 2:00pm to 10:00pm37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Assemble components and products following work instructions and proceduresRead and follow manufacturing documentation accuratelyCarry out visual quality inspections throughout the production processComplete production records and documentation accuratelyOperate production equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeepingWork collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targetsIdentify and escalate any quality or safety concernsParticipate in continuous improvement activities What We're Looking For

Desirable Experience

Previous experience in any of the following would be beneficial:

ManufacturingProductionAssembly workWarehousingQuality inspectionMachine operationHowever, experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

Working Environment

You'll be working in a controlled cleanroom environment where safety and quality are a top priority.

The role involves:

Standing for extended periodsManual handling dutiesRepetitive assembly tasksWearing PPE and cleanroom protective clothingWorking rotating shifts, including nights
