Maintenance Engineer

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Spire Healthcare who are offering an initial temporary contract with a view to be extended for the right candidate at a rate per hour.

We are looking for a Engineer this role will be based at: Yale Hospital, Wrexham Technology Park, Croesnewydd Road, Clwyd, Wrexham, North Wales, LL13 7YP, United Kingdom

The right candidate will:

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking routine engineering checks, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), monitoring environmental conditions and responding to maintenance issues and breakdowns across the hospital site.

* Carry out daily morning checks across the hospital site.

* Undertake regular plantroom inspections, including opening and closing checks.

* Monitor and maintain appropriate temperature and humidity levels throughout the hospital.

* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.

* Undertake routine fire alarm testing and associated safety checks.

* Act as the designated Fire Manager, overseeing relevant fire safety responsibilities.

* Identify, investigate and report engineering faults, breakdowns and maintenance issues.

We require the following;

* Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer, Building Services Engineer or Facilities Engineer.

* Experience working within a hospital, healthcare or other complex building environment.

* Good knowledge of building maintenance, plantroom operations and engineering systems. xjnqpsq
