Experienced and professional Waste & Recycling Operative required to work with a leading and highly reputable organisation.

My client requires an experienced Waste & Recycling Operative to join their award-winning environmental services division on an ongoing temporary contract. Are you looking to work with a prestigious and well-known employer? Please see below details.

Location: Monmouthshire

Pay: £16.78 per hour (Paid weekly via umbrella)

Hours: 37 Hours

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Waste & Recycling Operative

Collect domestic and commercial waste and recycling in line with scheduled collection routes

Collect food, garden, residual, hygiene and dry recycling from households and businesses

Return bins and receptacles safely after collections, ensuring public areas remain clean and accessible

Complete assisted collections and additional allocated collections as required

Monitor and report contaminated recycling in accordance with procedures

Deliver a professional, polite and courteous service to members of the public

Support additional environmental duties including litter picking, town centre sweeping and bulky waste collections when required

Work safely in line with Health & Safety policies and safe working practices

Requirements

Must have experience within waste collection, recycling or environmental services

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a physically demanding role

Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Must xjnqpsq be reliable, punctual and committed to delivering a high-quality service

Willingness to work Bank Holidays and occasional weekends when required

HGV Licence desirable for relief driving duties (higher rate paid when applicable)
