The Role

As a Housing Officer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality housing management services to residents and leaseholders. You will be responsible for managing tenancies, building positive relationships with residents, and ensuring communities are safe, well-managed, and sustainable.

* Conduct tenancy audits, estate inspections, and property visits to ensure compliance with tenancy agreements.

* Investigate and manage anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases, neighbour disputes, and tenancy breaches in partnership with relevant agencies where required.

* Support residents in sustaining tenancies and accessing appropriate support services.

* Liaise with internal teams including repairs, compliance, and neighbourhood services to resolve housing-related issues efficiently.

* Maintain accurate housing records and ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.

* Assist with lettings, allocations, sign-ups, and void management processes where required.

* Promote resident engagement and deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.

Skills & Experience Required

* Good understanding of housing legislation, tenancy management, and social housing practices.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.

* Ability to manage difficult situations professionally and with empathy.

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively. xjnqpsq
