HGV Technician

Description

HGV Technician needed, up to 22.50 per hour (dependent on experience), Permanent, Full–Time, Day Shift/ Night Shift – 4 on 4 off.

We are looking for an experienced and driven HGV Technician to join the team in the Manchester depot. You would be working for a well–established commercial vehicle dealership, who are committed to delivering exceptional service and vehicle care to its clients. Key Responsibilities for the HGV Technician:

Diagnose, repair, service, and maintain commercial vehicles to VOSA/DVSA and dealer standardsCarry out MOT preparations, inspections, and fault–findingIdentify issues proactively and deliver quality work with minimal supervisionLiaise with the service manager and wider team to ensure operations run smoothlyUphold a high standard of customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency

Qualifications & Experience required for the HGV Technician role:

NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance preferred (or equivalent experience)Proven background in commercial vehicle servicing and diagnosticsHGV Licence (Class 1 or 2) is advantageous but not essentialMain dealer or franchise experience is desirable
