Wild Recruitment are on the look out for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy distribution company in the Portsmouth, Hilsea area.

With a variety of shifts available across days, nights and weekends. Fixed shift patterns are also available

This role has the potential to become temp to perm

Pay : From 18ph, minimum of 10 hours a day paid (Umbrella)

What you will be doing as a HGV Class 1 Driver:

Driving a refrigerated Class 1 vehicleYou will be motorway driving majority of the timeDelivering a range of products and services to retailers and wholesalers across the nation.To accurately complete all documentation required by the company and the customer.Ensuring that all company rules and regulations and compliance with legislation is always achieved.Occasional manual handling involvedWhat we need from you as a HGV Class 1 Driver:

A Full UK Driving Licence with Category C+EValid in date Digi Tacho card and CPCA minimum 1 year of Class 1 HGV driving experienceAbility to pass an assessment prior to startingYou must have a High Vis, Safety boots and safety gloves for this roleThe assessment:

You will be required to undertake a 2–day assessment (4 hours a day) before starting work with this company.

The first day will include a highway code assessment as well as a driving assessment.

The second day will include health & Safety training, an overview of operations, and what is expected from you.
