Description
Mainstay Recruitment are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers to join our long–standing client based in Willenhall, Wolverhampton.
Start times are generally between 04:00 and 06:00, and shifts tend to last between 10 and 12 hours, involving a mixture of local and longer distance deliveries. Perfect for if you want every day to be a little bit different. Our client has a large fleet of tractor units and refrigerated trailers, all kept to a very high standard. Due to the work involving food products, there is not a 'quiet period' and the company can offer work all year round.
Drivers with over 6 months experience are preferred and will be provided thorough training following an assessment and induction process. Drivers must have a level of physical fitness as there will be some manual handling involved. In return for the hard work and professionalism of their drivers, our client offers a fantastic hourly rate of pay and an on–going, stable position of work.
Pay
Monday – Friday – 19 per hour inc holiday
Weekend work is available if drivers wish to pick up extra shifts, weekend work is paid at a premium.
What You Get Working with Mainstay
– In–house payroll team (fast responses to pay queries and no fear of signing up to 'Umbrella' companies)
– Collective 40+ years experience in the industry
– Local branch based in Walsall
If you are interested in this role, or wish to discuss any other positions we may have available, please apply for the job or alternatively, call our Walsall branch for further details.
