Description

Our client a leading high–street supermarket brand require HGV Drivers to join its growing teams in Grangemouth and Falkirk. The 2 sites are approximately 2–miles apart and candidates may at times be asked to work across both locations.

The role

Successful candidates will be required to make chilled and ambient deliveries to this very large store network.

All shifts and availability considered as this is a 7–day, 24 hour operation.

Start times in Grangemouth (Ambient) – Between (Apply online only). Start times in Falkirk (Chilled) – Between (Apply online only). Shifts are between 10–15 hours in length.

Requirements

Proven Right to Work in the UK Current valid Cat C+E Driving entitlement Current valid DQC and driver cards No more than 6 endorsement points – No DR, DD or CD endorsements A minimum of 12–months experience driving this class of vehicle. All candidate will be required to undertake an onsite assessment made up of the following.

All breaks paid

Days (Apply online only) – STD 16.00ph, Overtime 21.00ph, BH 28.60ph

Backs (Apply online only) – STD 18.00ph, Overtime 22.21ph, BH 31.02ph

Nights (Apply online only) – STD 19.00ph, Overtime 23.88ph, BH 34.36ph

Rate changes will be applied throughout the shift.

Example – 1000 start, finishing at 2300 (13 hours) = 4 hours day rate, 8 hours back rate, 1 hour night rate.

Overtime is applicable after 45 hours

Pay frequency – Paid weekly

Immediate starts available following registration and successful completion of the site assessment/induction.
