Location: Knutsford

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Assembly Operative on behalf of our client based in Knutsford. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands–on work, being part of a team, and learning new skills within a manufacturing environment.

About the Role

As a Production Operative, you will be involved in a variety of workshop and production tasks, contributing to the efficient running of operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assembling components from machined partsUsing hand tools such as spanners etcCarrying out basic functional testingSupporting general workshop duties such as packing and dispatchAssisting with additional processes when requiredWorking towards daily production targets as part of a teamMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspaceBasic Data entryThis is a varied role where no two days are the same, and you'll play an important part in the overall production process.

What We're Looking For

Full training will be provided, so previous experience is not essential. However, the ideal candidate will:

Have some experience in assembly or a manufacturing environment (advantageous but not required)Be reliable and take pride in their workComfortable with hand toolsPC literate Have a positive attitude and work well as part of a teamBe willing to learn and get involvedHave basic numeracy, literacy, and communication skillsPhysically fitThe Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
