Forklift Operator

Description

We're recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy and well–established manufacturing site in Duxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in a fast–paced environment, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials and finished goods across the warehouse and production areas.

Key Responsibilities

Loading, unloading and storing deliveries safely and efficiently.

Supplying materials to production and packing departments.

Collecting and storing finished goods.

Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.

Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory.

Operating Forklift

Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.

Following all health and safety procedures and promoting a safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

Valid RTITB Counterbalance and Reach forklift licences (VNA experience is desirable but not essential).

Previous warehouse experience.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good English and numeracy skills.

Basic IT skills.

A reliable, proactive team player with a positive attitude.

What's in it for You

GBP14.50 per hour.

Full–time, Monday to Friday.

Weekly rotating shifts: 6:00am 2:00pm and 2:00pm 10:00pm.
