Hours: 4on 4off (days or nights) 6am/6pm

Hourly rate: GBP13.70 per hours (days) & GBP14.70 per hour (nights)

gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit X4 FLT Drivers for a leading manufacturer of convenience food client based in Bradley Stoke, Bristol, BS32. As a FLT Driver, you will join a team where you will become a key and valued member providing support to key operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Unloading & moving stock between freezer, chill and ambientGeneral tasks required by the managersProcess finished Greencore–Prepared meals products made by the production team through to the point of Despatch to our customers.Working in a small team you will be picking the correct products for our customer ordersEnsuring orders are loaded onto vehicles for deliveryMaintaining a clean workspace within Despatch areasMaking sure Despatch is organised through stock rotationWorking in a fast–paced environment and able to meet time–sensitive deadlinesEnsuring all PPE issued is worn at all timesLogging product shortages and reporting them to the Management Team at the depot at the end of each shiftAble to work in a cold environment (20C) The Candidate:

Forklift license is essential (either accredited or be able to provide an in–house, in date licence)A good level of English and MathsAble to work a 4 on 4 (including weekends)Able to handle porkExperience in a food manufacturing preferred but not essential.Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of othersA good attention to detail with a firm focus on Quality and Health & SafetyAble to adapt well to change and undertake a variety of activities across our operationDemonstrating teamwork and communicating effectively developing relationships with team members and other teams across the siteBasic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene (but this isn't essential as training will be given.
