Description

Paying GBP27,000 + Benefits + Parking – Based in Oldham, North Manchester, our client is a successful and growing engineering business looking to recruit a Fleet Administrator to join their expanding team. This is a permanent, office–based opportunity offering the chance to become part of an established and supportive team, playing a key role in the day–to–day management of the company's vehicle fleet.

Standard working hours are 8:00am 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 45–minute lunch break.

THE JOB

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all fleet administration for a fleet of approximately 100 vehicles, including arranging MOTs, servicing, repairs and registration transfers Raise and process purchase orders, ensuring all approvals and documentation are completed accurately and on time Liaise with insurance brokers regarding vehicle additions, removals, incidents and claims, maintaining accurate records throughout Maintain and update vehicle tracking and dashcam management systems Order, issue and cancel fuel cards as required Work closely with internal teams to minimise engineers' downtime by ensuring fleet issues are resolved quickly and efficiently Maintain accurate fleet records and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant THE PERSON

Previous fleet administration experience would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided, so candidates with strong administrative experience and the right attitude are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and an excellent communicator, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support the smooth running of the company's vehicle fleet.

A current, full UK driving licence is essential, as you will occasionally be required to drive company vehicles Strong IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Outlook and Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills A professional, approachable manner with strong interpersonal skills The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgement Calm and organised, with the ability to perform effectively in a busy, fast–paced environment Self–motivated with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills A positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a supportive workplace culture THE BENEFITS
