Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour + Holiday, Pension and Adecco Benefits

Working Hours Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm – 40 hrs per week

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Start Date: Immediately after successful interview and trial

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Driver/Storeman to join our successful and growing client based in Chelmsford. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking to join a busy warehouse team, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

The successful candidate will be responsible for customer deliveries across Essex and supporting the warehouse operation, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Completing deliveries to customers in a professional manner. Local to Essex deliveries.Ensuring goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.Supporting the goods in/goods out process. Loading and unloading goods safely.Working closely with colleagues to ensure orders are dispatched on time.Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently.Packing orders ready for dispatch.Following order sheets and picking instructions correctly.Moving stock throughout the warehouse by hand.Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.Adhering to all company health and safety procedures.Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience working within a warehouse, stores, or goods in/out environment.Full UK Driving Licence is essential.Ability to carry out manual handling duties and heavy lifting.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good organisational skills.Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Driver Requirements
