Location: Heathrow / Feltham Area

Shifts: Day & Night Shifts Available (Rostered Pattern or ADHOC)

Temperature: 5 20 C (PPE Provided)

The Role

We are currently recruiting Cold Store Operatives to join our clients based in the Heathrow/Feltham area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast–paced warehouse environment handling perishable cargo, including fish and other temperature–controlled goods.

You will be working within a cold store facility (5 20 C), with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cold Store Operative, your duties will include:

Loading and unloading vehicles carrying perishable cargo using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment

Carrying out manual handling duties where required

Breaking down and building ULDs (including PAGs, PMCs and AKEs)

Using hand–held scanning devices to locate and identify cargo

Processing paperwork in line with client requirements

Checking inbound cargo for discrepancies, damage, or areas of concern

Picking and packing orders ready for delivery

Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant warehouse environment

Working collaboratively as part of an enthusiastic team

Adhering strictly to Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

Be safety–focused with the ability to maintain a secure working environment

Be able to speak, read and write English

Have previous warehouse experience (desirable but not essential full training provided)

Be able to provide a fully checkable 5–year employment and/or education history

Successfully complete criminal record checks in line with CAA security regulations (DBS and/or PCC).

You should also demonstrate:

A willingness to learn and contribute to improving warehouse processes.
