Class 2 Refuse Driver

New Resource Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Refuse Driver to join a well–established waste management operation based in Cheltenham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a stable, full–time position with a great work–life balance.

Working as part of a dedicated refuse collection team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of household and commercial waste across the local area while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) refuse collection vehicle. Complete daily collection routes in Cheltenham and the surrounding areas. Work closely with the loading crew to ensure collections are completed efficiently. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects. Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times. Complete relevant paperwork and use onboard systems where required. Maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with the public. Requirements

Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Previous Class 2 driving experience is preferred. Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation. Reliable, punctual and safety–conscious. Able to work effectively as part of a team. What's on Offer
