Class 2 Drivers

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 2 Refuse Drivers in and around Matlock.

Main responsibilities will include:

Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the jobUndertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removalUse in–cab technology and mobile devices as directedComplete relevant paperwork in real timeCarry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after useEnsure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor usersWillingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement

What you'll need to succeed

Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)Driver CPCGood communication and interpersonal skillsSelf–motivatedWillingness to undertake tasksClean drivers licence desirable for all staffBenefits

The hourly rate for this position is starting from 19.73
