Driver Hire Southampton is currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join one of Hampshire's leading refreshment suppliers. Monday to Friday – no weekend work12–week temporary to permanent positionStart times between 5:00am – 7:00am (8–10–hour shifts)Driving a Class 2 rigid truck with tail lift and electric pump truckDelivering refreshment drinks across the South and MidlandsOccasional London runs (drivers mate provided)Some deliveries forklifted off; others require manual unloadingComplete daily vehicle safety checks, accurately review delivery notes and driver manifests; confirm all loads are safely secured; and promptly communicate any issues to the transport team.What we require from you as a Class 2 Driver:

Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licenceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph cardPhysically fit and comfortable with heavy liftingGood understanding of manual handling proceduresOwn transport to commute to and from work is essential due to the location of our clientStrong communication and timekeeping skillsConfident driving in London when requiredNewly qualified drivers are welcome to applyDriver Hire is an agency providing staff cover to a wide range of companies within the local area.
