Class 2 Driver

Description

We're looking for a talented Class 2 drivers to work for our client in Leeds area.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field.

If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for, even if you've got limited work experience.

The Role:

As the Class 2 you'll report to the Team Leader and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.

Shifts: Mon to Fri, 6am to 4pm. (45 hours/week). Saturday work might be required.

Key Responsibilities:

– Drive and operate Class 2 HGV (Skip/RoRo preferred) vehicles

– To ensure all bins are weighed accurately

– Follow set routes and schedules to ensure timely pickups

– Use bin–lifting equipment in a safe and effective manner

– Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Requirements:

– Knowledge of the Waste Industry

– Excellent time management and organisational skills

– A strong work ethic and 'can–do' attitude

– Reliability and punctuality

– UK right to work

In addition, you'll need the following:

–A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV License

–Previous experience in trade waste or commercial driving preferred

–An excellent communication, team work

–An experience minimum of 1 year's ( desirable)

–A flexible attitude and a team player
