Class 2 Driver

CareerMakers are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 to join our client based in Wigan, WN6.

As a Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations.

Responsibilities:

– Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations

– Load and unload goods from the vehicle

– Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries

– Inspect the vehicle for any mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs

–Can vary from 6 drops upwards depending on distance.

–Ensure loads are properly secure

Skills:

– Valid driver's license with the appropriate category to drive a Class 2 vehicle

– Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience

– Excellent time management skills to ensure on–time deliveries

– Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

– 2 years experience

Pay Rate: 14.50 per hour PAYE

Monday– Friday, day shift.
