GBP14.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join our well-established client based in Paisley, Glasgow

Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver will involve but not be limited to:

Loading & unloading boxes/packages for onward deliveryLoading the vehicle for the following day's deliveriesEnsuring that all loads are safe and secureConducting vehicle inspections and reporting any faults to managementOperating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle in a safe and efficient mannerMaintaining accurate records including delivery notes, vehicle maintenance checks, incident reports, and accident reportsEnsuring positive and effective communication with staff at delivery pointsAdhering to food hygiene regulations while transporting foodMonitoring and maintaining the correct temperature regime of the refrigeration unit Essential Skills

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category C1 LicenceHave a minimum of twelve months experience driving C1 vehiclesNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesHave a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi CardMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skillsBe of good character and must undergo a DS/DBS check for this role Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Training

Vehicle maintenance and safety proceduresCompliance training on legal and regulatory requirementsIndustry related training and ongoing support throughout Apply
