We’re now looking for a Talent Acquisition Adviser to join our ambitious Peterborough team. This is a key in-house role where you’ll attract exceptional talent, deliver a world-class onboarding experience, and help every new starter hit the ground running.

Your Role

As our Talent Acquisition Adviser, you’ll take full ownership of recruiting top performers across all areas of the business – from sales and marketing to operations and leadership. You’ll also design and lead onboarding and induction programmes that inspire, engage, and prepare new hires for success from day one.

This is a dynamic role blending talent acquisition with employee experience, giving you the chance to shape our team’s growth and culture.

Key Responsibilities

* Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and create targeted recruitment strategies.

* Write engaging, on-brand job adverts to attract the right talent.

* Proactively source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a smooth and professional process.

* Manage the entire onboarding process – from offer acceptance to day one.

* Design and deliver engaging induction programmes that cover company culture, systems, and role-specific training.

* Work with managers to ensure training plans are in place and aligned with business goals.

* Maintain accurate candidate records in our recruitment system.

* Promote Trade Mastermind as an employer of choice through excellent candidate experience and employer branding.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (in-house preferred).

* A passion for people, culture, and employee experience.

* Strong presentation and facilitation skills – confident running group inductions.

* Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities.

* Excellent relationship-building skills at all levels of the business.

* Confident with recruitment systems, job boards, and Microsoft Office.

* Creative mindset for employer branding and attraction campaigns.

* Driving licence preferred.
