Canvas Sunncamp Tent

Description

This is a classic frame tent but is in need of some tlc and minimal repair.

The tent is approx 30 years old but still in very good order. It is genuinely still a good tent and has been used annually for a family holidays.

So issues are.
The rubber peg hoops have mostly rotted as have the elastic straps for the inner pods. I have replaced some with elasticated cord but it really needs a full job done.
The top poles for the kitchen area need new clips on the ends to join to main frame as original ones have broken.
It could probably do with a coat of waterproofing. The tent is still watertight unless in real torrential downpours when it does leak slightly on a couple of seams.

There are water marks on a couple of roof areas, and the front canopy.
The front canopy was rolled up and not used on my last holiday so there aren't any photos.

It's really easy to put up and take down. It has two good sized pods which you can stand up in. It has a kitchen area with a mesh window + rain cover that zips down and even has curtains for the back window!! It looks almost as good as it did when I bought it, so if there is anyone out there who would like to do a few repairs and bring it back up to scratch it will serve as a good tent for years to come.
