Selling my original Meade ETX125EC telescope with field tripod & #497 Autostar controller.
Once aligned to the night sky for your session, the #497 Autostar controller will then use the pair of internal motors to find your chosen target, or give you a tour of the night sky above.
This is a late model ETX EC with metal reinforced forks and the optics are superb.
The details:
The scope itself is in excellent condition, with undamaged optics. There is no finderscope and the Autostar cable needs replacing. The current cable sheath is perishing and one of the retaining clips is broken, but it still works and the electronics work fine. The field tripod is missing the spreader/eyepiece tray, but is otherwise structurally fine and stable. No eyepieces are included.
Comes with a threaded, solid dew cap.
£360 Ovno & collection only from Raynes Park, SW20. Willing to consider reasonable offers of course, and I would be happy to run through the operation with the buyer.
