Hours: Full-time (08:00 – 16:00)

Start: September

Pay: M1 – M6 (dependent on experience)

Are you an enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Key Stage 2?

Do you want to be part of a supportive and welcoming school community?

We are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Gosport area from September. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the opportunity to teach within KS2, with flexibility around year group for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a warm and close-knit team within a school that prides itself on building strong relationships and supporting both staff and pupils to succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons within KS2 (Year 5 focus)

• Creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

• Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND

• Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents

• Promoting positive behaviour and a love of learning

• Contributing to the wider life of the school

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2

• Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Enthusiastic, proactive and positive approach

• Commitment to supporting all learners

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
