Term Time Only | 08:30-15:30 | Monday-Friday

£85 - £95 a day

We are looking to appoint a caring, proactive and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to support teaching and learning in a Year 4 class from September 2026.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with the class teacher to help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel supported and able to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting the class teacher with daily learning activities

* Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning

* Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources

* Supporting pupils with additional needs to access learning

* Promoting positive behaviour, wellbeing and engagement

* Contributing to a calm, purposeful classroom environment

We are looking for someone who:

* Enjoys working with children and building positive relationships

* Is patient, flexible and able to use initiative

* Has good communication and teamwork skills

* Understands the importance of inclusion and safeguarding

* Can support pupils with a range of learning and emotional needs

* Has experience in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential)
