About the Role

Hendon Preparatory School is seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 and 2 Teacher to join our dedicated team. We are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire pupils, deliver high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum, within a nurturing and ambitious school environment.

Core Purpose

Deliver engaging, creative and high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Support pupils to achieve excellent academic progress while promoting confidence, independence and resilience. Create an inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to flourish. Contribute positively to the wider life and continued success of the school. Essential Skills and Qualities

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2. Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices. Excellent classroom management and behaviour-management skills. Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge young learners. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and pupil achievement. Warm, caring and approachable manner. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Adaptable, positive and proactive approach with a good sense of humour. What We Offer
