Welsh Teaching Assistant

Location: CF5 (Cardiff, Wales)

Job Type: Full-Time, Part time, Temporary or Permanent

Pay: £89.38 Per day

Start date: 15th February 2026

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and eager to begin a career in education? We are looking for enthusiastic Welsh Speaking Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team and gain hands-on experience across a variety of classroom settings. This is an excellent opportunity to build your confidence, develop new skills, and make a genuine impact on children's learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Assist with day-to-day classroom activities and pupil supervision.

Provide one-to-one or small-group support to help pupils reach their potential.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Support pupils with additional learning needs as required.

Requirements:

A genuine interest in working with children and developing a career in education.

Fluent Welsh in Speaking & Writing.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A caring, patient, and proactive approach.

A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply).
