Salary: £95 - £105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school based in Rotherham who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual who can contribute to a supportive learning environment and help pupils achieve their potential.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside class teachers to support learning, encourage pupil engagement and provide additional classroom support where required.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school or educational setting

• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2

• A good understanding of supporting children's learning and development

• Strong communication skills

• A positive and proactive approach

• Adaptability and a willingness to support across the school
