Position: Teaching Assistant (Secondary)

Contract: Term – time only (full time / part time considered)

Start date: September

Salary: 90 – 105 per day

The role – We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join one of our supportive secondary schools in Halton. The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching staff to support students' learning, progress and wellbeing, with particular focus on students who require additional support.

You will be expected to work with KS3 through to KS5 and it is essential that you have a good understanding of the British curriculum and have a good understanding of supporting students with SEND

Key Responsibilities –

Provide in class – support to students, particular those in with SEND or additional needsSupport small group and 1:1 intervention as a directed by teaching staffAssist students in accessing the curriculum and remaining engaged in learningPromote positive behaviour and inclusion in line with school policesSupport teachers with classroom organisation and learning activitiesWhat do we offer ?
