About the role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be working alongside class teachers to support pupils' learning and development, both in whole–class settings and with small groups or individual children. Duties may include:

Supporting the class teacher with lesson deliveryWorking one–to–one or in small groups with pupils, including those with SENHelping to prepare learning materials and resourcesSupporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural developmentGeneral classroom support to ensure a positive learning environmentWhat we're looking for

Previous experience working with children (in a school, nursery, or similar setting) is desirable but not essentialA relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is beneficial but not required for all rolesA patient, caring, and adaptable approachStrong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staffEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)Why work with Simply Education?
