Salary: £92.63 - £115 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in Fallowfield who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for someone who can provide effective classroom support and contribute positively to the learning and development of pupils.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September, working within a Year 1 class. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across the curriculum and must be confident leading groupwork sessions in Phonics and Maths.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable

• Experience working within a UK primary school is essential

• Experience supporting children within Key Stage 1 / KS1

• Confidence leading small group Phonics and Maths activities

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
