Teaching Assistant – September Start

Location: Sheffield & Surrounding Areas

Pay: £95 – £110 per day

Start Date: September

Contract: Full-time & Part-time Opportunities

TeacherActive is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming schools from September. We have opportunities available for candidates looking for day-to-day flexibility, short-term cover or longer-term placements.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils with their learning and development. This could include providing 1:1 support, working with small groups, assisting with classroom activities and supporting pupils with additional needs.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working with children or young people

Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not always essential

A positive, patient and supportive approach

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Confidence supporting pupils individually and in small groups

SEND experience is highly desirable

Ability to work effectively as part of a school team

A genuine passion for helping children succeed
