Job Type: Full-Time Long Term (5 days a week), Day to Day Supply

Pay Rate: £95 - £100 per day

Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Somerset. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons while helping pupils develop their knowledge, confidence and independence. You will provide classroom support, assist with learning activities and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.

* Provide one-to-one and small group learning support.

* Assist pupils with their learning and development.

* Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement.

* Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff.

Requirements:

* Experience working with children or young people is desirable.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* A positive, patient and adaptable approach.

* Passion for supporting pupils and their education.

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.

* Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
