Description

Role: Teaching Assistant

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Start date: As soon as possible

Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term)

Salary: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications).

About the role

Heart of Supply is looking for calm, caring and committed Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a variety of schools in Lincoln and across Lincolnshire. You’ll play a key role in helping children thrive, both academically and emotionally. As a Teaching Assistant you will work closely with class teachers to support learning, manage behaviour, and provide individualised attention to pupils who need it most. Whether assisting in small groups or offering 1:1 support, your patience, adaptability, and positive attitude will make a real difference in the school day.

About the school

We work in partnership with a wide network of welcoming, well-supported schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas, including primary and secondary schools, academies, local authority provisions, and specialist SEND settings. Whether you’re passionate about early years, KS2, or supporting pupils with additional needs, we’ll match you with schools that align with your skills and values. As a Heart of Supply educator, you’ll be part of a growing team that’s making a real difference in the classroom, gaining valuable experience across diverse environments.

What you will need:

* Experience supporting children or young people in a classroom, childcare, or youth setting

* A calm, compassionate approach and the ability to build trust with pupils

* Confidence working under the direction of a class teacher to support learning and behaviour

* Flexibility to work across different age groups and adapt to changing needs

* Great communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset

* A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, Early Years, or similar) is desirable but not essential for experienced candidates

What we offer you:

* Competitive weekly PAYE pay

* Roles tailored to your lifestyle - day-to-day or longer term

* Access to exclusive opportunities in great local schools

* A friendly, experienced consultant who listens

* Free CPD and ongoing professional development

* A simple ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme

* A warm, supportive agency that genuinely cares about you and your journey

We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children’s barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.
