TimePlan Education is currently working with a welcoming school in Redbridge that is looking for a confident and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA who can quickly settle into a classroom, build strong relationships with pupils and provide effective support from day one.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher with day–to–day teaching and learningWork with pupils on a one–to–one and small–group basisSupport children with their literacy, numeracy and wider learningProvide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs and SENDAssist with classroom activities, preparation and organisationHelp promote positive behaviour and pupil engagementBuild positive and trusting relationships with pupilsContribute to a safe, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment

We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary schoolHave a strong understanding of classroom support and pupil developmentBe confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needsHave excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBe proactive, reliable and adaptableBe able to build positive relationships with pupils and staffBe available to start ASAPExperience supporting children with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs would be advantageous.
